If your travelling South on the M1 leave at Junction 28, and take the A38 South or towards Derby.
If coming north on the M1, again leave the M1 at Junction 28, and take the A38 South or towards Derby.
Having joined the A38 travel about 3 miles, and at the first major Junction take the A61.
From the A38 Junction travel about 600 yards to the traffic lights, and take the left fork for the A615, follow the A615 to the next set of traffic lights and at the lights turn left. The Anchor is about a quarter of a mile on your right-hand side.
